At the Studio

Gister bij het atelier geweest om de techpacks door te nemen en de materialen af te geven voor de sample productie. Tijdens zo'n 'overdracht' kijk ik samen met het atelier, Cengiz in dit geval, naar de technische specificaties van ontwerpen en kunnen eventuele onduidelijkheden worden opgehelderd of een aantal opmerkingen worden toegevoegd, zodat alles duidelijk is voor het wordt vervaardigd. Zeker met iets nieuws en gecompliceerd als deze aangepaste lijn is het fijn om samen even alles door te nemen. Cengiz begrijpt goed wat ik wil, dus dit gaat goed komen!
Als deze samples klaar zijn, kunnen we doorpassen en aan de hand daarvan kunnen we zien wat er beter kan en aangepast moet worden. Nog even wachten dus!

Yesterday I've been to the studio to consult the techpacks of the upcoming collection and deliver all the materials for the sample production.
During a so called "transfer" the studio (Cengiz in this case) and I discuss the technical specifications of each design, so when necessary some uncertainties can be clarified. This is important so that everything is clear before it is manufactured. Especially with something is as new and complicated as this adapted line.
Cengiz understands very well what I want, so no doubt this is going to be okay! If these samples are ready, we can test the designs and adjust/modify where needed. So, we need a little bit more patience for the end result!
